Default Run 713 main blades on Trex800DFC PRO

Hi folks!

I just did my fist flight of my new Trex 800DFC PRO. Unfortunately I had a problem and I lost the 780mm main blades...

As I had a set of EDGE SE 713mm at home, I installed it on the helicopter and just had time to do 2 flights in the end of the day with the 713`s... IMO it flys very nice, actually better than my Trex 700DFC (due to the stronger motor MX850 + CC 160HV, maybe.). I found it having plenty of torque even with this smaller blades..

I set the RPM to 2050 and 2200 to idle 1 and 2.

Have anybody here tried this 713mm main blades or even the Edge 753mm on Trex 800PRO? How did you like it? For sure the flight will last longer...

Hey folks, lets discuss it!

Does someone try 713's on Trex 800 PRO? How did you like?

How about Edge 753 vs Align 780mm? Any comments?

Thanks for your time...

Just thought I would throw this in here, I'm using the 800m Trekker blades on my 800 Pro, she's super stable with these blades if you are into low head speeds for scale flying.

Also using the Radix v2 FAI 713m on my 700 pro, again makes for a stable heli for scale.

I know this isn't what you were asking, thought it might add to the discussion.

Personally, I wouldn't go any less than the 780's on that machine. That's the whole point of an 800, big blades right?

i agree also. why would you want to go with smaller stuff than at least what comes on it??

if you want 700 size blades and other stuff why not just go with the 700 from the get go?

i always thought the bigger the better lol

I have a 700 DFC.

I had an accident with the 780s. Said that, considering I have at home a set of 713s, I just installed it to fly while the new 780s are coming...

The fact is that a Trex 800PRO flys as nice as 700 or better, due to the stronger motor, ESC, etc.

In my opinion, I would suggest anyone who wants a 700 to buy a 800 because this is pretty similar (parts) and you can use 700s main blades without any problem. You don't need to upgrade or ESC as it comes with the 160. The same for the motor MX850.

It has plenty of power for a 700 and you can switch between main blades to have a 700 or 800, plus having better orientation due to the size of the canopy...

Also, 115s tail blades in both choices, bringing lots of tail authority.

Right?

Today I did a video with the 713mm...

While my 780s doesn`t come up, I will have fun with this "little" 713s.

Just sport flying... Not much confident after some crashes with my 700...
