I put some KBDD's on and couldn't get the wag to go away so I cut about 2mm off them and they feel much more locked in than the stock white ones.

The tail on the 250 is legendarily quirky (to put it politely). The distillation of the many threads I've read over the years is that you pretty much have to try a bunch of blades and see what works best for you, and understand that if you change anything (e.g., headspeed, governor, tail servo), you may have to repeat the selection process.

That's great, but I have to say that's not evidence for the KDDD being better--just that they're working better with your particular setup...

Get one of these

Cured all of my tail wag when nothing else was! Paired with the longer KBDD's its amazing. The stock tail servo for me couldn't handle the kbdd's unless they were cut down.

Didn't realize there were carbon blades this size.

I'm back on stock and my 450 stole the ds95i, 250 has been running a hitec 5084mg for over 20 flights and it performs great. Zero wag and it holds damn well doing inverted funnels.

yup but KBDD are the only blades that seem to keep the wag at bay on a windy day.

You don’t need a fancy heavy tail servo, just lose the 3GX and put a better FBL on it and all problems will be solved.

As soon as I took the 3GX off and put a Spartan VX1n on it, all the problems magically disappeared.

I am using the 37mm bat winged tail blades. Tail is rock solid and crisp.

I am running

Normal 4000RPM

IU1 4300RPM

IU2 4700RPM
