Default KDE links crazy tight ?

just got a KDE SXT head to upgrade my 550....i've heard the hype but this really exceeded my expectations....almost a work of art

i got the complete head that comes with the turnbuckles, heavy duty ball links and linkage balls.

HOWEVER, all 4 links are crazy tight on the included linkage balls....it is supposed to be like this ?

if NOT then is there a sizing tool as the balls are larger than the stock Align ones i have a sizing tool (made my own) for ?

to help others in the future, i have pasted the email reply i got from Patrick of KDE :

The links were designed to be snug, to further increase the strength and prevent any issues during-flight (such as the ball-link detaching in-flight). They are tight at first, but later loosen-up after a few flights as the plastic wears-in and relaxes.

You can size them if desired, which is a common-practice in the RC Helicopter industry to get all the ball-links to that “perfect” feel. Essentially, right at the limit of being smooth, but with zero-slop - the ALIGN ball-links are smooth, but they come stock with slop and one of the reasons the KDE Direct ball-links have been very popular, is the adjustability.

Here’s a link to a common sizer for 5.0mm ball-links (http://www.kdsmodelsusa.com/product-p/3021-1.htm).

The ones on my 700 kit were tight, think they're the same. I have an adjustable sizer
