Default ACE 5.2 FBL Contr

Just mounted and tested my new ACE RC 5.2, most of the settings are stock standard and it behave as expected but I am not happy with the swash plate compensation. When tilting the heli forward and backward the swash is compensating very litte and very slow.
Tried dif settings but can not come around it .Anyone who have a tip?. Tilting the heli sideways, it compensate better, but still not as I expect,

Default Gyro

This gyro kicks ass. It does take some tweaking to et it right. This gyro has the best locked in and crisp tail and roll rates ive ever flown. Ive had them all and im converting all my helis to ace.

Good to hear dbird2, I on the other hand have a slight problem not with the tail but as I take of and hover the heli it starts to get some wobleling, as I said not the tail but the heli it selves. Not very wilent but it seems like the heli is "shaking /jumping a bit up and down" when henging there in mid air. All is set 100% reg pitch aile and elevator. Can it be some adjustment on the gyro it selves? Any idea? My radio is JR XG11 Gyro ACE GT5.2

Just updated both my GT5's to the latest 5.2 software and couldn't agree with you more. Once tweaked very nice. 5.2 is a winner.

Ace GT-5.1 was my first FBL experience.

I'm glad to see some people are still using these FBL units. I feel like they have been a bit under rated gyros without the recognition they deserved.

I bought used the 5.1 and 5.2 and flew them until they went bad and really liked them.

I'm all BeastX now but miss the convenience of the screen.
Now I have to remember what A-H menu does and that's fine just miss the screen.

Hey man how did you hook up your jr dmss radio on the ace. I just ordered the jr xg 14 and wanted to use the xbus serial connection to fbl. I know on the ikon fbl you use the hott protocol but on the ace not much info. R u using standard receiver connection or the serial connection.

For high head speed setups like 3500 on a 450 Pro I found the only way to get the wobble out of the head was to reduce the mechanical gain in the cyclic servos by bringing the balls in one notch on the servo horns.

That was with the 5.1 and I literally adjusted the gyro all over the place trying to get that wobble out but simply couldn't do it. It was a total nightmare for a while.
