Default 3GX setup question - swash tilts backwards running with no blades

I am installing a 3GX (ver. 4.0) on a Trex 600E with the 3G head.

I have gone through all the setup stages and everything seems to be setup correctly.
All collective / cyclic servo directions and travel are good and gyro compensation is correct (tilt and correction). Same for tail.

The gains and limits are set at the defaults.

But, when I spool up the heli with no blades, the swash will slowly tilt backwards to its limit and stay there.

If I push "forward" cyclic, the swash tilts in the correct direction, but when I center the cyclic, the swash will stay level for a second or two, then start slowly tilting back again.

If the head is not turning, the swash will stay level forever with no input.

I didn't see this on my 450 when I used a 3GX on it.

This could be related to the fact the heli is sitting on the ground with no blades.

It could be related to vibration. I am using 2 layers of the gray 3M tape. The gyro orientation has the servo buss facing front and the 3GX is mounted on the gyro platform on the front radio tray.

But, before I add blades and try to hover it for the 1st time, I thought I'd run this through the forum.

Are all your travel limits set at 100?

Travel Limits? Is that A-Lim and E-Lim? If so, then yes.

I test flew yesterday, and the heli was controllable.
I didn't let it spin up on the ground too long - basically I had some positive pitch as it spun up so it took right off.

There is a slight "tail down" transition from a hover, but controllable.
