Default M. Protos stretched w/ 360mm blades... Run 60mm tail blades?

I just stretched my protos and it's running great...with Edge 325s... I just installed RJX 360 mains... And before I attempt to fly... Should I also install longer tail blades?/longer tail fin? Or just runny edge 60mm?

Well for one you'll probably get a main to tail strike if you run anything bigger than 60mm tail blades.

I've had good luck with the tail hold at 2800rpm with 360mm mains and Radix 59mm carbon tail blades (and a DS95i).
Edge 60 should be fine as well.

I did it for a bit but on mini auto landings often the tail blades would touch on hard surfaces.

Stretched mini flies beautifuly with edge 60mm tails. I highly suggest the lynx tail fin. It is longer and stiffer. I use the orange G10 fiberglass version not the carbon. Your choice!

Default Good

We'll thanks for everyone chiming in.. It seemed like they were the right length .. But by extending the mains that much.. It would only seem natural.. Yeah I love the lynx fin, but strengthened w an extra layer of carbon and epoxy. Flying great!
