Default Swash timing

Has anyone who has modified a stock 450 head to be flybarless as per the Skookum guide ( http://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/ga..._for_SK360.pdf ) had swash timing issues?

I modified my head to be flybarless to fly with no stabilization and as it is now, my swash timing is too far advanced... i.e. stick inputs happen slightly too early.

I plan on fixing it by drilling an tapping out my swash follower (what used to be the washout base) so I can adjust it.

Anybody else run into this?

Are the links between the swash and the blade grip parallel with the main shaft when viewed from the link side?

When you pur the blades fore and aft (parallel to the tail boom), do the blades move when you input elevator from the Tx?

I recommend that you get a head that was designed for FBL. Most of those have the followers attached to the head so this does not happen.
