3GX gyro problem...I think?

Ok, so I'm a little bit stuck on the 3gx gyro on my Trek 500. I have a vid. Ill try talk you through it.

I start in HH mode. I spool up, a little slow (0:32), so increase the RPM's a bit more (0:38) touch the rudder stick and release, and round and round it goes. So I shut the throttle. Spool up (0:50) I have not touched the rudder and it just spins around.
I then try to control the tail with the rudder stick and its not right!

(1:18) switch to rate mode. A little slow on the RPM's again, so increase. Dab of rudder and it spins round, but easier to stop with opposite input.

Now is this just a gyro gain, its 60/70% like it says to try first, maybe its not high enough?

Thoughts and ideas greatly appreciated.

Have you checked your Gyro Rev in setup menu, Rodders?

Yup rookie error. Reversed tail on Tx but forgot to do for gyro comp. All good now. Ready to try again.

Hi guys - not sure this question is in the same ballpark but I am having a problem where no matter how I set the rudder on the 3GX unit I can't get the rudder to change direction. When hovering tail in, rudder stick right is tail right. Land, flip the reverse light to the opposite color (red to green or green to red) and no change in tail behavior.

Any ideas?

Yea its been a long time since i bought it to get it flying. 5 battery packs isnt enough!!
