Pretty much everything outperforms stock E-Flite batteries, any size any heli. That said I'm quite surprised the longevity of the stock E-Flite batteries for the 300X. My 2 1-yr old stock E-Flite batteries are still flyble today after like 160 flights each.

I can't explain it since I've had better luck with Pulse batteries in other applications. But I have 2 EFlite & 2 Pulse 1350mAh packs for my 300X and I swear the EFlite packs have less voltage sag than the Pulse's based on how quickly I get the voltage sag telemetry alarm when I fly with them. I'll say this, the Pulse 1350s don't perform any better than the EFlite ones in my experience, although they are less expensive.
As a side note, I have 2 each of the Pulse 45C 4100mAh and Glacier 45C 4000mAh packs for my X5. I can notice no appreciable difference between the two other than the price. For $33 less (about 28%) the Glaciers are a good bargain and Buddy RC is great to deal with. I will be getting more of them when I need new packs for either of my helis.

The two Rhino 3S 1350mah 30C lipos arrived today.....normal priority mail shipping from Washington state to Ohio in two days. HobbyKing usa warehouse really has it together. $10.40 ea. plus shipping
Quite happy with these so far out of box.....turned out to be smaller size and lighter weight than given specs. Even so, thick insulation on cables (more like cables than wires) look large enough to jump start a car. rhino 1...............116 g. rhino 2............116.7 g. nanotech.........117.1 g. eflite...............116.2 g. |

Sweet that is good to know, I have a Yep 45a in the mail for my 450x and was thinking I'd just put an EC3 on it, but now I will go with an XT60.
