Default Looking for an electric plane that will use my current batteries

Not to familiar with powering required for electric airplanes so I am hoping someone has some input.

I use 1300mah 6s lipo's in my heli and I am wondering if these batteries would work in any airplane kits out there.

A bit of an old question, but I'll take a stab at it.

Power demands are quite a bit different for helis Vs planes (4 min vs 10m flights), and the high voltage batteries are less beneficial.

Most planes are 3-4s and higher capacity packs. Not sure about capacities for 6s hotliners...

If you have a lot of them you could get creative and split them up.

I too have played this game with my t Rex 250. Hard to find a plank to fly on those packs 800mah 3s. Ended up buying a HK plank. The mini Pitts. It needed all kinds of mods to fly right and still needs more. I gave up on it and will get back to it soon.

But be careful of what you decide. As the power plants and specs for packs and such seems way off at times on HK birds and parts. I have had 2 purchases end up highly over rated on power so far. Both have lead to unfinished protects taking up bench space.
