Default PWM rate on align800MX with CC Edge 120HV

I've done 5 flights on my new align E700DFC non-Hv combo. The Esc logs show 220F temps which, according to CC website are too high.

My PWM settings are 12khz and timing is medium. Is it ok? If not, can i reduce it to 8? can the motor timing be reduced to low?

Currently running headspeed 2250. Shall i lower it to 2100?

Its a 44.4 volt setup, 10 pole motor, 12 teeth pinion and 112T main gear.

I need urgent help with bringing down the temp

PWM 8KHz. Motor runs fine so far. Average temps are much lower on my ESC.

Which is your average temperature?

See this link https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=505978

Yeah, but they used PWM of 12khz for motor timing

I'm not sure what you are asking they used PWM of 12KHz and 5 degrees for timing.

If you lower the PWM you take some of the load off your ESC and it will stay slightly cooler buy your motor will get warmer. I generally don't use any timing advance at all. Timing advance on an electric motor is kinda goofy anyway IMO.

800MX is a multistranded engine, and can efficient use 12kHz PWM. If you have a rewounded one with thick single strand, use 8 kHz.
120Amp ESC on this engine one is on the edge, since it has capabilities of short surges above 200 Amps. Make sure you put it in a place with adequate airflow! If you cannot get enough airflow, put on a fan or upgrade to 160HV ESC. 160HV have more than twice the weight of the 120HV... most weight added in the heat sink.
