Default I'm getting my first JS TZ-v2 .50 heli as my 2012 build project

Hey guys. I'm ordering my first JS Model TZ-v2 .50 heli. I have not heard much bad things. I'm ordering probably the middle of this week. And hopefully maiden it on Sunday. I've been in this hobby for a while now. I wont have no trouble at all. Just one of those things that it's time for a project. It's the first build project for this year. Can't wait to get her in the air. Soon I'll get their 90 size. 239 at hobby king. I have few question though.

1. Is there anything you changed to improve?
2. How she flew compare Trex 600 since it's 2 lb heavy?
3. Did it came with metal tail case?
4. Can you answer these question for the 90 size?

Thanks!

The 90 comes with a metal tail case. Its super stable in the air and the only things ive replace are the clutch liner, and the plastic fan, ... I've replaced it with a raptor 90 CNC fan. I had a problem with the gear mesh so I had to shim the engine when mounting it. Now its smooth as butter. Oh replace all the fuel tubing the stock crap sucks.... made me overheat! Other than that i think its a pretty badass heli.

1.) I installed a Klone vented clutch bell, and Thunder tiger main gear (50)
I also installed the Thunder Tiger Fan on my 90 but had .090" machined off for a perfect fit (90)
2.) I feel as though they fly and track better ( than trex 600) which is the reason for selling my trex and getting another frenzy. ( lighter is not always better )
3.) Did not come with the metal tail case (50) although my 90 did ?
4.) The 90 had some problems ( which may have been fixed) one was with the tail rotor and it's cause came from 2 small screws holding the tail gear to the main mast. I drilled it out and used a through bolt. The other issue alot of folks seem to have is clutch alignment.
5.) enjoy !

Hi yup the 50 come with metal tail case. Over all I like it. This one guy that was my instructor really liked how it's built. But some ball links are to tight some is to loose. Over all I like it. The fan shroud should be thicker. It's to flexible.

I haven't maiden her because I couldn't find the tail guard. Over all it's a darn great kit for the money. I've built over 10 heli's and really like this one. But there is slop on the head which track down to swash. I'm buying a cnc swash and hopefully that will take care of the slop. I held very good the swash the moved my blade grip and no slop. So that should be replace. Anyway's people is blind not getting this one.
