Default N5c rattling noise on shut down

This is my sons first senergy Heli . Is it normal to have a rattling sound when you shut the engine down? He has a hyper 55 in it.

Thanks in advance

First, make sure that your belt tension is correct, if it's too loose, you'll hear it slap the inside of the boom. If that's not it, check to make sure that nothing is coming loose on the model, i.e. boom supports, drivetrain parts, landing gear, fan shroud. Also, check to make sure that nothing is getting caught in the rotating parts or touching them, the canopy came pretty close to the main gear on mine for example.

I'd think it's a screw that came loose somewhere on the heli.

It dosen't rattle on start up. Idle, or idle up only when the engine is shut down

Check the clutch and the clutch stack alignment.

The other thing to check is the pipe to see if the baffle is cracked. Take the pipe off and shake it
