Is there a large felt difference between the 6200-7000-7200 rx's? I am getting a 500 in January but deciding the best rx for it.

Picked up my first 500 the other week(esp 3g). This thing seems massive compared to the Blade 450 it's replacing. I'm not quite finished with the build, still need to pick up a receiver, some batteries, and thinking about skipping the 3g and going beastx. Can't wait to get her in the air!

That seems to be the general concensus. Beast it is! Thanks for the input.

I'm about to maiden my 500 DFC Pro soon when my packs arrive, hopefully this week.
I'll let you know my thoughts on the BeastX then, but so far set up etc has been very easy, very happy with it.

Don't forget for those 3GX devotees, Align have a 3.0v update available, might be worth a shot if you own one, here's the link.

Only tip (and this is based off the very old V1 beast) Is to run it up without main blades and watch the swash, if it stays stable add the blades and fly. Not only the beast but all the fbl controllers had vibration issues that would send the heli on it's top. Most of us still use the test! just in case.

Thank you I appreciate the input.

I have in fact done that, I've run the heli up to 100% and stirred the swash through its complete cyclic range with no binding and NO unwanted swash deflections, with mains and TR's off, so far so good, I did have a 450 Beam on mini vBar go ape and nearly bury itself on the first maiden so I'm very aware of the pitfalls, it was a painful to watch, so hopefully the 500 will be fine, however I will take your advise and check this again.

Cheers
