Then you will have a setup many of us have... I think it makes it easy on troubleshooting...

If you send Fung at Flying-Hobby an email with everything you wish to buy in a package he will often give you a good discount on the individual buying prices.

If you don't ask you don't get!!

Cheers

I think I worked out a good deal with rmccomb on the one he is selling, Plastic frames 850kv motor Needs an esc and gyro but it comes with servos, ans some other upgraded parts. One question though whats up with the short boom kit and small blades??? Will this lower power consumtion?? I know it will increase cyclic speed. Is any body else running this setup, and do you like it???? I cant thank you guys enough

the CF hurri comes with the short boom and 500mm blades... the plastic hurri comes stock with the long boom and 550mm blades... since all I've flown is 500mm blades and a short boom.. I really can't tell you if it's better... I do have a long boom and belt ready to get installed if I have and unplanned landing (crash)... 550mm blades while may not be as quick to flip, should also provide more lift at the same RPM...

sooooooooooo.... they should be better...unless it takes more power to spin them... in which case it's a wash and they both end up using the same amount of power to obtain the same amount of lift...I will tell you, it's a lot easier to find 530-550mm blades...

Well the plan is to put the longer tail and belt on it with a z30 motor and 550mm blades and then go fly but we will see.or maybe I will try to fly it with the 475mm blades. I might need to gear it to raise the head speed enough for those little ass blades hey what about the 205's from my 250

it's in the smiley list towards the bottom. here's my personal fav as many know
i'm not sure if you can fit a rappy boom on there... the belts are pretty heli-specific so that may be an issue. i do know that the trex600 thrusted tail grips work pretty well though

the long belt is 572 the short belt is 522... there is a belt made for another heli that is in the 620 range I believe... and you can buy a broom with a hollow aluminum handle... that's 21mm OD... it would be technically possible to stretch the tail out and swing 600mm blades... but the rest of the drive train probably won't handle the extra stress.

At least with a broom for a tail boom, you will have something to sweep up the pieces with after a crash.
