Default Align 850MX shaft removal howto?

Hi,

my shaft is broken and i'd like to change it, but it doesn't move.
I've dissasembled the 700mx very often an i thought i could get the shaft out of the 850 MX the same way but it doesn't move :-(
any special idea? I'm using a drill press - pushing from the outside (where the letters are written on the bell).

Thanks a lot.

It should come apart the same way.
I assume you removed the set screws so you simply need more force.
A drill press is a bit risky for the drill press itself, better to use an Arbor press.
