Default NANO IU?

I have had trouble flying my Nano and was wondering if setting a level speed curve (like IU) and thus making my left stick controlling the pitch only would help? I'm sure theres something that would mess this idea up but not sure what. Bob

Take a look at the DX8/DX18 Throttle curves. Try putting in their ST1 as your stunt (idle up) curve. I usually raise throttle to 50% with left stick, then switch to St1. Not saying its a go to setup, but it worked for me. Be sure to hit the Throttle Hold when it starts going wrong though.

Thanks cdaivs, I'll take a look at those settings. I don't think they will solve my problem though. Bob

Your welcome. I'm very green to CP flying and could barely keep my Nano off the ground to start. Flying in St1 on my DX8 is easier for me, but it has taken me a month of flying daily to achieve tail in hover for 4 minute flight without crashing. Then I dropped my Tx, crushed the left gimbal and am waiting for HH to send it back so I can fly again. Hope I'm not starting over when I get it back.

I know what you mean. If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all. Flying the Nano is a handful your way ahead of me it has a mind of its own. Bob

There is a reason why I call it my neurotic little bird. A bit of EXPO helps too. Just keep trying, eventually you'll fail to hit the ground!
