Nothing even remotely impressive, but I thought I would try to contribute

What am I doing wrong here. I D/L the file and unzip, shows up in the recording list, but when I click the LOAD button, Phoenix shuts down and exits? The first few worked but any of the other ones???

I just unzip the file to my desktop.. then move it over to 'my documents/phoenixRC/recordings' and start Phoenix and open Video Recorder and it's there when I click the open button.
BUT... Phoenix definitely has some bugs here... I often will hear the sound but not see anything.. and have to restart.. or sometime change scenery manually to see someones recording.

Nice recordings guys, respect!
can someone perform a Pirrouetting Globe? and a Sidewinder? or some new 3d master moves like an Anaconda or a Deadspinner for instance? that would be realy cool to watch and learn, |

Haven't been many movies lately though I'd make on to show my progress on funnels and inverted circuits.. even managing a few inverted funnel attempts.
To see this properly.. download the whole zip file as it includes the custom map (St.PeterStrand) in case you need it.. but also my B400 variant and conopy colors (the go into My documents/PhoenixRC/variants and schemes folders. The custom map goes into program files/phoenixrc/resources/environments I believe. Just unzip to your desktop and sort it out from there. Trust me.. if you don't have the custom environment you want it.. to me its the best one there is for lighting and look. http://www.slyster.com/heli/slyjan18.zip

New Guy
Hi,
I hope I got the upload procedure right. This is a recording of me. I have about 30 hrs. on G4 simulator and 3 on Pheonix, about 10 battery packs on a Blade 400. I still feel like the tail is waging the dog but I think I'm getting there. I even try a little forward flight. It gets away form me but I didn't crash this time I recorded it with the controller in view (don't know if i need to record it that way). OK let the bashing begin (EDIT) Oh, do you all get together on multiplayer? and if so when. And do you let guys who can barely hover in? Last edited by cwhitting; 01-23-2009 at 12:23 PM.. Hi,
My first recording Only those who have the BargteheideBridge scenery can play it. Short recording of me having fun doing an inverted flight under the bridge. Cheers! |
