Default Trex 700 servo choice?

I was just wondering if the Outrage Torq HV Brushless 9180 servos are that much better than the Align BL700H? I have a set of the Align HV servos and they seem fine, but I don't have much time on them. And I have no time with using the Outrage, are the Outrage servos that much better that changing out the Align would be worth it?

The newer line of Align servos are great performers and you would not see a difference between outrage and Align.

Both of my 700s are using Protek 250 series and I'm happy with them. I'm still not impressed with the Align 700s.

They all had an eighth inch of slop around center.

I decided to just go with the BL700H servos. I already have them in my Trex 700 and now I'm going to put them in my Goblin. One good thing is I'll have at least 7 of them so I should be able to keep something flying. Between the two helis I have the same esc, motor, servos and fbl controller, even the blades are close enough to use in either one. That's one good thing about having two of the same size helis, oh yeah, the batteries are on trays that will fit either heli also.

Wow- 1/8" ? Mine have zero slop, and over 100 hard flights on them. Maybe yours are missing a bearing or too? That is a TON of slop, and not normal at all.

You will not notice a difference in flight performance between BL700's and Outrage torqs.

Where you might notice a difference is in RX pack usage.
I use kosmiks in all my heli's and I use the BEC, the current difference between the two servo's is crazy.

Outrage torq's
2A average, 12A peak

Align BL700's
4A average, 24A peak

So you could just about say the align's use twice as much power, so your RX pack will prolly get more flights using outrages, but that not a big deal really.

+1 it baffles me as to why people don't know how much better these are than the stockers. ZERO slop ZERO buzz and incredibly powerful. No doubt the best bang for you buck period.
