Default Remotely take stills with gopro camera

Im curious as to what options I may have for remotely taking video stills with my go pro. I have a TBS discovery with a custom gimbal and would like to remotely take stills. I know the go pro app running wifi would be a great way to view in realtime what I am seeing and also take a photo/video but running wifi while using my dx8 on 2.4gh is not a good idea considering wifi frequency is right around the same range. Any ideas as how to use the app wirelessly without interfeiring with my transmitter? Could I somehow transmit on a different frequency while using the DX8 by using dragonlink or similar?

Thanks,

Troy

Anyone have a clue? Also just though about puling the stills from the video but wonder how they will compare in quality as to a regular picture on the go pro.

Thanks,

Troy

all GoPro cameras have a setting that allows you to take continuous photos at what ever time interval you choose form.5 seconds to 60 seconds ( I think thats the time choices)

Keep hitting the button in the middle till you see fames thats the option, now menu down and choose how often you want a photo. Then just hit the shutter and fly.

You will have about 1000 pictures when you land

its called "time Lapse Mode"

How to Timelapse with a GoPro (7 min 17 sec)

Well, I guess I made things more complicated than they needed to be!

Thanks so much!

You will have to hack the high density connector on the back to be able to do remote commands like that.
