Sunday was a beautiful day to fly and hardly anyone else flying.

Thanks HELIFREAK we had a great time the dive was long but I had my two helifreakin friends to share it with they made it a very enjoyable trip up and back down don't know how I could have made it without them. Once we got there we new then why this field was picked it was such a perfect field. Got to make a bunch of cool friends and see lots of old ones I always look forward to hanging with people that love the same things I do like flying helicopters and I got to do a lot of that with my first time flying under the flood lights was fun easier than I thought. Anyway thanks again everyone who made this fun fly was my best ever.

Please enjoy a Spot Light flight in the pitch black by Greggor McGrath I did a pretty good job of catching on my iphone. About 4 times it went too high for me to tilt my head as I am pretty close to the flight line and my neck is hurtin but I got back on it quick. Hard to really capture such an epic event but it is one rocking flight

I want to thank Will James, Skiddz, Tony Whiteside and many names I am sorry I can't recall right now. Also thanks Finless you were a great announcer and it was good to see you back in the game! Greggor McGrath, Lorne Green from AmainHobbies have always been so good to me also they are both great as well as the rest of the Amain team Curtis, Tim, Brain, Leon, Frank and I know I am forgetting names again but thanks to all of you whom I personally had a chance to hang with. I had a chance to hang with to awesome folks to list, I loved every moment of it. Looking forward to doing it again soon

On a more positive note, this was my first 3D helicopter event. I drove in from Reno on Saturday morning and had a lot of fun. Being reserved I snapped a lot of pics and talked to very few, but the few I did talk to, Sewerfly and a couple of others who I cannot remember names at the moment, were very nice and friendly.
Next year I shall be back as long as you guys don't move the date to be in conflict with the Helicopter Scale Masters Fun Fly which happened the weekend before the HFFF in Davis.
Anyways thanks to the Anderson folks as they seem to be all very nice and accommodating, especially Burt Kingsbury.
