Default Rubber O-Rings Break-In?

Been flying a new Mini Protos for about a month, but have not yet used the black rubber o-rings to secure the battery yet because they are very tight.

I have been using regular rubber bands to hold the battery in place (as well as the usual velcro). I think the o-rings would leave grooves and damage the battery if used as is.

Do folk stretch them?

Please advise. Thanks,

Paul

I use the O rings - they work perfectly - are you sure that you are using the correct ones, the one that holds the ESC in place is smaller

Some can be a bit tight, but don't worry they do loosen up.. they wont hurt anything.. If your really worried post a pic with them on ..so we can see how tight they are..

Default Depends..

It depends on your battery. I use Protos O rings on my mini protos.

+1 The O-rings are great and they do loosen up a bit with use.

I dont like them at all, I think they put far too much pressure on the corners of the pack (this can cause the to fail or even catch fire). I use velcro and a strap the fits into the cutout where the ESC strap goes.
