Default YEP with AR7200BX throttle signal

Guys,

I have swapped over my Ikon to my Goblin from my Warp.
Before with the YEP, I would turn on TX set Th hold
plug in heli and get all the beeps. Ready to fly.

Now I have changed to the AR7200BX
I do not get the final initialisation beeps until I toggle the Hold switch, or start with the Th stick high and drop it to low like I'm recalibrating it every time.

I have gone through the YEP THR Cal twice to be sure, but still the same.
Has anyone else had this?
Can you guys with a BX7200 tell me how you set yours up.

Cheers

That sounds really strange (and potentially dangerous). I'm using an AR7200BX with a CC Edge Lite 50 and have no issues initializing with TH on.

If you switched from ikon to AR7200BX without performing a recalibration of the YEP, you should redo the setting high and stop on your YEP. The AR7200BX itself will not initialize if it does not detect zero throttle. It is possible that the ikon was receiving your zero throttle different from your AR7200BX.

Thanks.
As I said in the first post, I have recalibrated the YEP twice, with no change.

What I have read, is that the BX doesn't send out a high throttle signal on initialisation.
So the YEP doesn't arm
By toggling the hold on and off, or moving the throttle stick from low to high and back,
it gets that high signal needed to initialise.

Not sure how else to get around this.

you need to rebind with throttle hold on, that should fix it.

you can also try this

Thanks
I'll give it a try.
Just been out and flown 4 batteries.
Gov was all over the place, got it working eventually.
Soft start doesn't work at all?
This ESC worked perfectly in conjunction with the IKON
Obviously not a good combo with the BX.
Somebody must have this combination, and got it to work?

Everything is working perfectly now.
Had to do re do settings with separate RX pack, and ESC red wire removed.
Throttle end points done with stick high low, THR Curve 0 to 100.
Using the card didn't work for me.
All other setting done with card.
Re bound TX with THR hold on and Mid stick
Returned THR curves to my Gov setting %

Now everything works perfectly

Yeah, the AR7200BX won't initialize if it does not see zero throttle, and the YEP (as most ESCs) won't go into TX program mode if you are not in high throttle, so an RX pack or other means of powering the AR7200bx is necessary to do any programming. Glad you got it resolved.
