6hv motor in atom ?
i've got 6hv motors sittng around. Wondering if its possible to run them on 6s ? [could drill out pinion to 6mm i think . ]]

you could use a 6hv pinion, or any Revco pinion. atom uses mod 1, but headspeed would be WAY too low. maybe 1300 with the biggest pinion you could fit which would barely lift a 500. you need higher kv.

You could always run it on 12s. If you have a 6s 360, those packs would be perfect. Something like 12s 1500mah or so. At this point the power would probably be mostly wasted so I would stretch it and run 515's, then you would have a pretty insane machine.
