Best Batteries for Brushless Setup

Any recommendations on the best batteries for a brushless setup? My stock batteries just aren't cutting it. After about 2 minutes I can barely flip without it bogging down.

Really? People have been posting that the stock battery is pretty damn good.

I have Hyperion 160s and it took me a bit to work it out. Thought I had a good setup doing pitch pumps inside then go fly outside and getting so much bogging it would not even go up. Found one battery that could not handle the draw.

Do you have the mild or the wild setup? For the mild, I found the stock batteries to be best. I tried Hyperion 160s, and they bogged after about a minute or 2. For the wild kit, I've heard Hyperion 180s or 240s are best.

This has been my experience as well. I have mild and the stock eflites are by far the best. With that said some batteries just suck. I bought 4 of them last week out of the 4 only 2 fly great the whole flight. The other 2 bog just like the TP 160s I have after a minute or so. Might have to go through a few batts to get some good ones but the good ones are good. Glad they are cheap. The nano techs and the regular turnigys are complete garbage for BL.

Yea - I've run both setups but I went down to mild to see if it helped. It helped a little. I need to experiment with each battery to see if some are better than others.

I've just received the Oversky 200mAh 35c a week ago.

I can say they are by far the most powerfull and longer lasting in flight that I've tried. 3.30 - 4 minutes of full power with no bogging at all.

I bought 4 and one of them is definitely less powerful then the other 3 thought but similar to the stock Eflite.

I also tried the EP Buddy 160 mAh 20c.

They are very similar to the stock, maybe a bit better. I've had problems with the connectors thought. Some don't hold well and disconnect in flight. very anoying.

I'm also waiting for the MiniAviation 190 mAh 25c that I ordered 10 days ago.

I've treated them all the same.

Breakin period.
5 cycles of charge discharge in the charger at 1c and 5 cycles flying not pass 50% (3.84)

One E-flight was useless after 111 cycles and another one after 115 and the last one died after only 48 cycles. I still have one going strong after 50 cycles.

3 EP Buddy are still strong after 76 cycles.

The others are too new to tell.

All this have been done with the mild brushless kit from Dylan.

I bought 5 of the MiniAviation 190 mAh 25c batteries several weeks ago and they work GREAT with the mild brushless setup. All of the power of the stock batteries with longer flight times. They're longer & slightly heavier but will fit into the battery holder (snug). They are my go-to battery, followed by the stock eflights. If the weather is cool, warm them up before flying.

I am definitely going to have to try these mini avations and oversky batteries. Never used and of the mini aviation packs before but always willing to give it a try especially if a fellow freak says they are GREAT

I have used a few different oversky packs on some of my older walkera micros and was always impressed with their performance over the competitions so that is a no brainer for me.

Just to add I had 4 of the spyder 160 batteries I just got recently and out of 4 only 2 of them performed ok off the bat. After 10 really easy break in cycles of 1:30 flights the other 2 were complete garbage. Now I have got about 15 cycles on the 2 that I thought were going to be good but they are now bogging badly after 1 minute of flight. This is all in the house BTW at room temperature. Won't be getting anymore of those.
