Default the outrage muffler ! i will never buy again !

Starting out with nitro I decided to upgraded and bought OUTRAGE muffler.
At first, like any new product I received I was impressive from the results compared to other companies.
After several flights (15 to 20 do not remember exactly) the inner ring
of the muffler was broken. I went to dealer in my country and without any argument muffler replaced.
After the first replacement I had flown with caution and additional exhaust purchased as a backup.
After 20 more flights the new muffler had again the same problem and again replaced.
in the third pipe I got security there is no need in holding back exhaust.
Of course that did not pass 20 flights and the third was destroyed just as his predecessors .......
After all this service was referred to a foreign company and opened an orderly and continuous reading .....
Have had about two weeks and still no answer from the company abroad .......

I am sure of one thing !!
Even if I lost the money I will never buy products of this company .


that was 6 month ago and still didnt get any replay !

3 pipe failures in 60 flights??

Um wow.. something is very off there. had mine for almost 3 years now.. and god knows how many gallons.

and what address did you use to contact the company?

You should have emailed Greg Alderman... and he's quite active here on HF as well. Or at least posted you were having issues here.

This is very sad. What i know is they should replace it as long as it have no physical damage. If they dont, outrage should take action and mail them.

Someone from outrage should speak out here kindly to let you know exactly what to do and i hope you will get a replacement or a refund.

Outrage never reply any bodies mail. That is the problem number one they need to fix. They make customers to explode and hate their stuffs.

maybe you right but i try through they web site and e-mail.
when i was having problem with my new DX8 and sent it to usa ...
they compensated me with new rx even i didnt wanna to.
they know how to keep they customers....
i hope outrage will know to.....

i did that and now after 6 month i checked what happend with the ticket and saw that is closed by resolved.
and that address was from replay by mail that bob sent to me.....

Outrage needs to fix problem number one replyng customers mails. Many get fustrated just becouse of this. Me regarding the v90 tail and distributor issue with everyone whom i know wrote to outrage...they never got a reply. Atleast if there was an auto reply machine replyng "Sorry we are out of service"

Never have ever had a problem with email from Outrage or HD..
usually less than 12 hours to get a response.

Far better than many other companies in this industry.

My first EVO-55 broke internally in less than ten flights, IIRC. I sent it back and they replaced it with a new one, which has been going strong for over two gallons now.



We'll see how long it lasts.

saeed09...I am sorry to hear about this...I am not sure who you were contacting? Bob does not have an email address...he only takes care of the help desk tickets. So "bob@outragerc.com" is not an email that would have made it to us.

I am surprised if you had a conversation with Bob that he did not follow through that is very odd as Bob is extremely efficient at handling issues that come through the helpdesk system.

I am also surprised you waited 6 months to say anything, but I would be happy to try to take care of you.
