I'm using 4 of the Punch Platinum 35C 1300 long packs. They weigh 265g and offer 4m of 3D on a 16t pinion w/ YGE governed as high as I can get it. Cells come down at 3.75V.

What HS does that end up at with 16t?

I haven't tached it... Sorry. I don't have the program card either, so it's not the highest governed HS one could expect out of a 16t. It could use just a bit more HS, but I like how it flies and I like 4m flight times better than 3.5m flight times.

Also, looks like cells are more like 3.78V.

Where are you going to get 14t pinion for 3.5mm shaft of this motor?

Just Google 14t sM2 pulley.
Misumi sell14t bar stock. Can machine for whatever size motor shaft I want.

I might try and get a 13t. Smaller than recommend for the belts. But I have seem them around too.

You could up the pinion size and use 4s packs with the KDE motor. It will draw more amps but I think the power will still be more than enough. Packs could be 1800/2200mah.

Hey guys,

I'm waiting to get my new Warp 360 any day and I'm still a little confused about the batteries that will fit.
I'd like to get the CoG correct and get maximal flight time out of it. And all that with the canopy mounted of course
I read here about this issue but the posts are quite old. Compass changed the canopy holes for new models didn't they? So all this canopy issue should be solved - even for bigger batteries...

In detail I'd like to try 1800mAh blue Turnigy 40C 309g with dimensions of length 113mm, height 34mm and width 39mm.
Does anyone know how that or similar packs fit inside the canopy and if they balance right?

thx
Soko

These fit (below) So I would say those would. The is plenty of length under the canopy for the pack. Most mount them well past the the end of the tray due to CoG.

Length: 90mm
Width: 35mm
Thickness: 43mm
Weight: 260g
Capacity: 1500mAh

My length is almost 25mm longer - but if there's enough space to the front... thats good news

Soko, with a battery that heavy, you may get away with the old canopy mounting arrangement. I run batteries in the 265g range and need to you the forward mounting option. I had to redrill the cano, not sure if this has been addressed by Compass.

OK...
It seems I should give it a try. I'll report back what I've found out.

Default Gens ace

Hello everyone.
Wanted to give you a heads up about the new gens ace packs designed just for the warp 360.
It's a 1600mah 6s 40c, and it will fit in and cog just right. Plus more flight time.
These packs are Awsome. I've got over a hundred flights on these and there still holding like new.

The extra weight really helps with cg.
You don't have to stick the batt way out on the frame. I can also get a good cg without the canopy with these where as the the other 1200's I would have them hang off the front of the Heli as far as I could and I still couldn't get good cg.
Here's what they look like next to the 1200mah pack
