What electronics do you have planned for your P700?

So while we wait and speculate on the Protos 700, lets talk about what electronics you have for or plan to put in yours. Maybe Corrado can chime in and give us details on motor size / mounting / kv requirements (although one thread suggested he mentioned 4525-520 Ultimate was used for the videos).

I have not owned a 700 before so I am going into this kind of blind. I am no hardcore 3D smack pilot. Heck, I can't even do a tick tock. I will be looking for middle of the road electronics myself. Maybe a set of Align 610s / 650 servos, ICE 120 HV, BEC Pro and Scorpion 4035-500.

I also have a Brain on pre-order and assuming it is "the cat's meow", that will go on the P700 too.

What do you have planned and why?

Hopefully it will be able to run a 2s lipo, so some nice hv servos can be used like mks or outrage.
I am goin to assume there will be a kit with motor, esc and blades, so will run them.
It will either be a brain or vbar, depending on how I like the brain when my Pre order shows up.

I'm collecting parts for the 700. So far I got:

Align 3GX + 2 satellites (I use this on all my heli's - they are perfect for me)
3x Futaba BLS 451
Hitec HS-6965HB for the tail
Life 2s 2100mah for electronics (I might opt for a BEC to save weight)

Nothing fancy. I'm aiming to make the P700 very light with 2x 6s 4000mah 20c batterier (less than 600g each). I do sports flying with the occational loop or roll.

I hope the P700 comes in a combo with blades, motor and ESC. Just like P500.

Possibly kit will come with, blades,motor,esc,brain, and all we will need is servos. Going for "torq" as far as batts go we'll see,, I hear some new batts are out for testing, extra light and high "C" we'll see if large enough. From my understanding, 2650s the weight and size of 2200s. and should be able to put 4000 on P500 at same weight as 3300 keep eyes open , should be seeing reports soon

Blasphemy, you cant put align bits on a MSH heli, its just wrong

I was expecting comments like these. But I have 3GX's on 3 other heli's, and I'd like to stay on the same path. They work well with the latest firmware. And I bought them for $80 each nib (people pick them out of combo's). I'm not getting the P700 because of the brand. I get it because of the weight and sound.

I used an Align strap on my P500 and a tail rotor grip bolt broke on the 3rd flight. That made a mess.

Since I replaced the offending strap I have had no further problems.

I plan in stripping the servos out of my Logo 600 for the Protos 700. So that would include 3 Futaba Bls451s on cyclic and an Outrage 9188 on the tail. For the motor i will probably go with whatever is bundled in the kit, if there isn't a motor included in will go with a Xera or KDE if either of them will work with it. I will very likely have a Brain in it unless they don't turn out as great as everyone is expected, which I VERY seriously doubt. I am really hoping for a full combo minus servos, rx and batteries now that the Brain is coming out. I hope there is a YGE 120amp included. I think the 90amp may work, but I would feel better with a 120 and heatsink.

I can't wait to see this thing at IRCHA! Hopefully Carrardo will give us some other choices on the canopy color other than that purple. I love the classic Protos canopies, just don't think I could keep that purple on it. I would love to see a nice blue.

I haven't decided if I'm going to get a P700 yet, as I am possibly going to get a nitro bird for my first 700. Now if the P700 had a nitro kit, I'd be all over it.

If I go with a P 700 it will have:
Stock ESC, Motor and Blades
Brain
MKS HBL 950 on cyclic
MKS HBL 980 on tail
not sure if I'm going to run BEC or receiver battery.
