Default Got my kit today

Well I really like the looks of the of the open box. Very nice. I still have a few things coming yet (CNC items) so not to much will get built right away. I did find out the main shaft collar was missing. I will wait to see if anything else is missing before I contact MSH. So far I like what I see. I have to read up on the YGE. Time to go back though all the pics to see how everything is mounted. Doesn't look like much room for the motor/esc wires under the tray. This Mini P will look like no other one that I have seen. Any tips/tricks/advice feel free to share

Default ESC

So why is there two set of servo wires on my ESC? On first start up the throttle is in high position (wait for beeps) then down to low (wait for beeps) and then is ready for flight.....right?

Pretty much for the basic yge setup. The other cable is the rpm sensor for external governing. Unfortunately I think you'll need the prog card to unlock everything else - not sure if you can do gov store etc with just stick inputs.

The one with all three wires soldered to the back of the board is for the ESC to Rx.

Default ESC Wire is the Prog card wire.

No, ESC Wire is the Prog card wire.

The other cable has speed output on the orange and the black is common ground. The red is not connected. The red on the ESC wire is connected and is BEC output positive. The program card works using the orange wire on the ESC line and ground so you don;t need the red on the ESC line for anything if you use an external BEC.

So then with the AR7200BX I will just use the one set and zip-tie the other set out of the way.

Default Yeah... Or desolder it.

Yes, zip tie it. It only has one purpose which you can't use.

My servo's came along with my program card today. Now I have to go to work and think about my heli sitting there waiting to be finished. I could take it to work but not much could get done as I take my time and do it right. Getting closer to the maiden....

Holy crap I hate that feeling. Nice brand new heli sitting at home, and you have to wait all day to use it.

I took a sick day when the kit came. Then took off a day the same week when I won 4 tickets to a preseason football game.

LOL. I love/hate having all the premaiden jitters during the build trying to get it done.
Have fun.
