My GUESS would be yes. It is supposed to see such voltages between the ESC and the motor anyway, and there is no current going through the sensor, only voltage measurement.
That's why one should check the software to see the phase sensing.

Guys,

To confirm. I should solder the Hyperion lead wire to any one of the three wires between the motor and ESC, correct?

If so, does it matter whether I tap into a lead wire of the ESC as long as it's one of the three motor wires?Meaning instead of on the motor side, on the ESC side. I wouldn't think it would matter, right?

Correct either side of your bullet connectors for the motor is fine. All of mine are tapped into the ESC bullets.
