The hurri will soon be a happy camper... New 550 carbon blades... new tail servo... Now I just have to change out gearing to get the HS down below 1900...

cool..only heads up i can think of is don't overdo the threadlock on the grubs...makes it an incredible pain in the ass next time if ya do

I have gone through the calculator and checked everything.

Pinion 14 tooth, rear gear 61 tooth, OWB 20 tooth, and the front gear is 42 tooth...

So using the calculator It tells me to change the front gear to 60 tooth for a headspeed of 1775 with my 1100 Z30.

What do I need to do to change out the gear?

I am presuming that I will have to unmount the motor and remesh it after changing out the gear.

Pics help!

Here is the setup...

Z30-1100
15 tooth pinion
20 tooth OWB
60 tooth front gear
61 tooth rear gear

Paper meshed (which was a bitch with the plastic frame)

Found one of the pinion retainer screws missing on the original 14 tooth pinion.

Now shes happy. Put the new tail servo in when I get it, and we will be ready to fly...
