Default Flight Times

Has any one run there 800 with a headspeed of around 1400 yet? Any idea on flight times at a headspeed that low? If yes, what batteries did you use. Im thinking about getting one for ap work and would like to use my 6s6600's i already have. Thanks

I'm at 1480 with no problems. 12s. 5000mah Lipos. I get around 7 min. At 1400 with 6600 mah you should get close to 9:00

Thanks. I'm hoping for 8 minutes with payload or else it won't be practical for me to use. It isn't sounding like that will happen

You can make it to 8 minutes and some payload , but you need semi symetrical blades.

They are many variables here: motor max power, gearing, esc, and most important, working RPM. 1300 to 1400 with 800mm blades would be a good range.

Yea. The camera/gimbal payload will be around 8 pounds. That would include camera, lens, gimbal batteries, downlink, etc. Plus 5 pounds for flight batteries and whatever the heli ends up weighing before adding the camera gear. As far as motor I havent decided on that yet, esc will be a heli jive 120, and haven't decided on gearing yet since im not sure what motor ill be using.

Thanks for the input Sat. Love your scale builds by the way, absolutely incredible detail.

My plan is to run 2 6s6600's on the battery mount on the boom and 2 6s6600's in the stock battery location/tray. Should give me a good amount of flight time with camera gear etc.
