Have not tried mine yet. Got it yesterday.
First I did was the stick modd on collective/trottle. So it feels more like the 12X. Click image for larger version

What stick mod is that Fredrik please?

In what way are you asking is it faster? One thing to think about is if you are going to use telemetry it will be at the expense of data rate from tx to rx.

As you can see in the pic the throttle stick is not all the way down at the last white mark.
Just open the radio and glue 1.5mm GF piece or what you have and recalibrate the sticks. Now you have shorter movement on the throttle stick like JR12X.

So Steve,
is there confirmation a Mah count sensor is in the works?
If that happens I'm sold too.
I see it has external Voltage to 70V but this isn't reliable enough to get the most flight from available capacity(80%) of your packs.

That for sure is the "killer" sensor for any telemetry system.

I noticed there is now a Spektrum current draw sensor but no power usage from them either.

Come on Futaba hurry up! lol.

I did a small test yesterday on battery life. In three steps I had 6 hours of use from the standard Ni-Mh battery. When I recharged it I put in 1250mA.

Remind me again why I need to rush out and purchase a LiPo?

Buying from Robbe in Europe they have a LiPo option for this and other transmitters so you get the LiPo if you want instead of having to buy it as an extra.

The power requirements of this TX is very low. I thought my 8FG was good...

BTW you can use robbe/Futaba telemetry sensors with your T14SG.
I've just tried all of them and it works!

Temperature

Vario + altitude (TEK) - very precise

To bad they don't have a current sensor so we can get mAh consumed.

On a brighter note though Tom is in the works with Futaba to have JLog2 become a registered sensor so it can be easily used with 14SG and 18MZ telemetry.
This will be an awesome all in one sensor for Jive users.

Here is a list of parameters JLog accesses:
Data logged and displayed by JLog2 (standard firmware)

Measurement readings and signals:
U-BEC [V] BEC output voltage ................., .............. I-BEC [A] BEC output current
U-BAT [V] main battery voltage .................., ............ I-engine [A] motor current
I-Motor/Int [A] motor current (integrated) ......., .......... Throttle [%] throttle impulse length as seen by the JIVE
PWM motor [%] ESC "opening" ................., ............ RPM Uni [1/min] rotor or propeller RPM
Engine RPM [1/min] engine's RPM ............. .............. Capacity [mAh] cumulative mAh
Temp-PA [° C] temperature of the PA-BEC ....................... Temp [° C] temperature of the BEC
Power [W] motor input power ................................ Power / Int [W] motor input power (integrated)
IbecMax [A] peak BEC current ImotMax ............................... [A] peak motor current
ALARM: Capacity [S] alarm on cumulative mAh ........ ALERT: Ubat [S] alarm on main battery voltage
ALARM: TempPA [S] alarm on PA's temperature ...... ALARM: UbecDrop [S] alarm on voltage drop of BEC
ALARM: EXT: T1 [S] alarm on ext. temperature 1 ....... ALARM: EXT: T2 [S] alarm on ext. temperature 2
ALARM: EXT: T3 [S] alarm on ext. temperature 3 ....... ALARM: EXT: T4 [S] alarm on ext. temperature 4
ALARM: EXT: T5 [S] alarm on ext. temperature 5 ....... EXT: Temp1 [° C] external temperature 1
EXT: Temp2 [° C] external temperature 2 .................. EXT: Temp3 [° C] external temperature 3
EXT: Temp4 [° C] external temperature 4 .................. EXT: Temp5 [° C] external temperature 5
EXT: RPM [1/min] external RPM

May also work with CC controllers w/ YGE possible in the works.

Hoping if/when Futaba does release a current sensor we get one like this
http://www.hitecrcd.com/products/air.../hts-c200.html
rather than this
http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...rodID=SPMA9590

I just don't really trust a pass through as much.

Using JIVE + JLog2?
Just look here:
https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=475370

You get all the information from JLog directly to T14SG. I'm already using it and have more information then I really need.

So currently I got these information + GPS sensor from robbe. It's AWESOME! Nothing else's needed

Which one is it?

Where can it be purchased?

Any certain charger to go with it?

Something that would work in the U.S.
