Default Sudden loss of control F550

My F550 has performed flawlessly for some time now. Only crash (gently into a treetop with no damage) was due to a bad battery connector coming apart.

Until last night. Following a couple of flights just burning holes in the sky at 80ft agl, upto 500 ft distant, I was just scooting about at low level (6-10 ft) with the hex about 200 ft away, in plain view, and in ATT mode when it suddenly fell on it's side, bounced on one arm tip, then off the GPS stalk, and landed on it's feet. It did not initially want to shut off. It did not lose power (leds bright, no flicker). Cursory inspection revealed 1 broken prop tip (about 1" missing off 1 blade) and loss of connection to the same arm's leds. I am assuming at this point both are the result of the bounce. All motors are turning, and controller (Naza) led pattern is normal. Voltage was still above 11v at the time. I haven't had the chance to hook it up to the computer, or even examine it in daylight yet, but I'm wondering if anyone has a suspicion of a direction to look in. Thanks

Are you running 2.4ghz or 5.8ghz for control? If you are using 2.4 then it is possible to have taken a serious interference hit. 2.4ghz is pretty crowded these days.

So I played with the 550 over the weekend. Repaired LEDs where one was crushed as the 550 bounced on one arm. Replaced the prop that had the broken tip, which I believe was from hitting the street, not the cause of the control loss. Did a complete low level and high level calibration (even tho it said unneccassary) , upped my gains, re-calibrated compass, checked all connections (tho I don't think there was any power loss), and replaced a second prop ( I removed all props while I had it plugged into the computer) where it appears the hub was slipping. When retightening the prop it just kept turning and wouldnt seat. Noticed the prop was slipping (with some force) around the hub. This is the only thing I found to be amiss. I dont think this is the cause of the crash, as the prop spun up just fine, and loss of one prop shouldt crash a hex. If it was radio interference, shouldnt the NAZA just default to failsafe mode? The not knowing makes me very nervous to fly.
