Any SRXL guru's want to help me solve a problem?
Im about to swap my fleet from ar7200bx to the Beastx Plus HD with ar9020 for the rx, connected via SRXL.
I fly only glow and gas helis, and am having trouble figuring out how to feed the rpm sensor signal to the system. The beastx plus has a port on its side specifically for this, but it requires an adapter that's not currently stocked in the USA. ( more on that here: http://wiki.beastx.com/index.php/MIC...ensor_(HE50H22) ) As a workaround, I'm wondering if I feed the rpm sensor into the ar9020 on aux2, will the beastx be able to receive and use that data via SRXL? Sorry, this SRXL protocol is new to me. Any input is appreciated.

Plugging the RPM sensor into Aux2 definitely won't do it. The servo ports on a AR9020 are just outputs. It won't read a signal on them.
SRXL only transfers channel information from the receiver to the FBL controller. So the RPM signal has to be fed to the FBL controller. That connector looks to be a 6-pin JST-ZH. If you can source the correct connector and pins you could build your own adapter. |
