Default mounting SK720 on Mini Protos
I tried the traditional location on top of the tail box for my sk720 but the cg was horribly off. I think the MKS servo's which are chunky was part of the problem.

I've moved it below the main shaft.

Is 2 layers of 4011 then the plate, then another layer of 4011 then the SK720 good or am I likely to have problems with vibes.

I'm under the impression these birds aren't horrible on vibes.

I have statically balanced the tail rotor assembly. Will be doing blades off spool up later today once I get the ESC Governor programmed.

Vibes would only affect the Self Leveling.
Start without SL and check the vibe log. If your vibes stay below 10, you good for SL.

By the way, nice helicopter what FBL head is that?

It's their head.

The Mini P comes with both.

The P500 requires the FBL Upgrade kit about 35 bux,

This does it. I simply must have one of these. That belt drive is fantastic. Same servos I have been running for the last 3 years. Beware, they will spoil you forever!

Yup the belt on the protos is beautiful and very smooth, all i had to do for my SK was mount it, vibrations peak below 1 (motor and tail, cant even find a head peak) unless i stick the HS up over 3500, then they are around 4 . No balancing/tweaking at all.

fwiw bench spool up to set gov store mode last night 100% throttle (no blades)

Max vibe level .37
