I got sick of typing individual values into web pages or simple spreadsheets to explore different power train setups so made my own spreadsheet to make it easy to compare a range of configurations. You can modify the input values in the white cells, the rest is automatic.

Yes I know what you mean, I recently had a stab at web based calculators and it's difficult to capture the comparison strengths of a spread sheet whilst making it easy to use . The best I could offer is to open multiple pages or use a number of custom cookie save preset features.

There is an iPhone app that uses sliders to input values and update the gear ratio and or Head Speed.
