Default recommendations

the lipo recommendation for the 425 heli according to the manual is two 2200 lipo's in series, but have been informed since that this is not enough umph!!.. i don't know..
i'm not intending to do any 3d with this heli as want to progress to scale eventually so i'm hoping that a basic set up will sufice for now.

cheers

Matty,

I started of with 2 x 3S 2200mah 25C batteries when I was hovering and curcuits - I was looping and flipping with 2450 3S 30C x 2 . The C is basically has much power they will give at any time (e.g how many horsepower), the 2200mah is the size of the petrol tank (how long you can fly for). When hovering with 2200mah I was getting up to 7 minutes (thi is set up with 500mm blades, the 425mm is less efficient) now doing loops, flips, rolls etc. I am down to about 4.30 to 5 minutes on the 2650s.

Hope this helps,
Mike.
