COme see me Saturday and I will show you my setup...
But you need the Align light string box, 2 light strings, and a tiny 2S 250 ma pack to power it. You also need a set of night blades and I like Rick Lohr's clear fins.

I just got my night gear a few days ago and flew it last night.
WOW I have not had a smile that big on my face flying rc in quite a while. Even my better half thought it was pretty cool.

Make sure to mention you want me to brush them for night flying. It really helps to distribute the light.

Just a note, the Align driver says it needs 7.4 volt source, but I have been using a tap off my main battery and running it at 11.1v no problems. Just make sure you have a light string attached whenever it is running or it will kill it.

I have seen people kill them running off main pack even running 2 strings! You dont want the lights to go out while flying
I bought a CHEAPO 250ma tiny little pack to run mine.

Bob, I want to try the night fly too, but I can come to see you fly. I'm too far away from you .

Could anyone please show more detail how to stick those light strings onto the heli. How many light strings we need, Bob said two. Any important reminders we have to know for night fly.

I run the align light box out of my reciver 6v ar7000. Also I tied two strings to one of the plugs so I run tail 1m, skids 1m and canopy 1.5m, all different colors. Picks will follow.
