titan x50 swashplate setup help
OK guys I recently picked up a titan x50 it was put together but not setup. I have been trying to set it up and according to the Manuel my controls are right but for pitch my swahplate moves up giving negative pitch. Just doesn't make sense cause in pics for movment it shows servos pushing the swashplate up. But in front view it shows swash going down. So my ? Is when I give it more throttle / pitch should the swash plate move up or down???

If you have a flybar...swash down will give you positive pitch.

Is it a FBL or flaybar head ?
I have one I haven't setup yet but its FBL so it might not be relevant for you, for positive pitch, the blade have to take air from the top and push air down.. Edit: Yes.. I just looked at the manual for flybar, swash down gives you positive pitch. as for flybarless, from the manual, swash up gives you positive pitch, although if I mount the blade grip link to the other side of the swash plate then it would be swash down for positive pitch. |

Its fly bar. I think TT messed the manual up on mine somehow. But here is what I don't get in order for me to get positive pitch I have to reverse everything there for everything is opposite. For example my elevator when I push stick forward my swashplate tilts back. My aileron when I do left stick swashplate tilts right. right stick it tilts left this is looking at it from tail. This is all opposite from the Manuel but its the only way I can get the pitch to be right.

Does the model have trailing main blade grips, the control rod is at the rear of the blade? If so then swash goes up for negative pitch.
It seems to be customary to have leading grips on FBL setup so swash goes up for positive pitch. If you want to and you have trailing grips you can flip them and have the swash go up for positive pitch. |

Its fly bar. In order for me to get the swash to go down for positive pitch I got to reverse everything. Then everything is opposite from Manuel. I'm so confused
