Default 122-12 (blade bolts not having enough threading)

I couldnt figure out why my blades were so loose. Then i took off the blades and tried to tighten the bolts with the blades off and it seems as the bolts do not have enough threading to tighten. I could easily move the bolt up and down with it completly tightened. Has anyone else had this problem. The bolt has about 8mm of threading from the bottom. By the way i have a tempest head, i dont know whether that should make a difference.

Is this a mistake by MA, or should i try washers, or would it be okay to buy a M5 bolt, but complelty threaded to the top (would this be bad, im guessing so) AAHHHHH the frustration. Thanks for any help!!

Same thing with my kit, also a Tempest head. I just swapped the bolts out for a set of Raptor 5mm blade bolts.

Washers work fine.

Default Tempest Head

I had the same problem. I talked to Chris at MA and he is sending me the right bolts. The bolts you have are 27mm long and they should have 22mm. MA put the wrong bolts in the tempest kits.

Will be at Ircha with my Gasser and others,

Bill
