Two of them have 437 gr and two have 484 gr. And the demension is not the same...
What is wrong with the lipos... another one ...misslabeld

What do you think ???

It almost looks as if the thicker pack has an extra cell Did you check the voltage ?

One thing you can be sure of with LiPo packs from HK is that you can never be completely sure what will arrive or whether packs sold as the same item will be uilt using the same cells from one batch to the next. Maybe they have changed the cells they use to make that pack and you got one from an older batch and one from a newer batch?

In the end, so long as it checks out OK, fits on the heli and performs well then it wont matter

Uwe,

Does the motor truly stop, or does the pinion or motor adapter slip for a sec?

Best,
Frank

Hello,
the motor adapter can not slip...i make the same like fineless bob
I think the Esc is the problem..with the new Setup it is a littl bit better
Or is the Problem the Free Run in the pinion
How can i check the Free run

Hi,

Hold the motor with one hand, and then try to turn the main blades CCW. The one-way bearing should prevent you from turning them.

It could also be serious motor bogging. What is your setup? Lipos, motor, pinion, throttle and pitch curves?

Best,
Frank

Hello,here is my Setup...

Lipo : Turnigy 6s 20-30C 2650 mah
Motor : Scorpion HK 3026 - 880 kv (V2)
Pinion : 15 T
Throttle Curve : Govenor Idl 1 50% , Idl 2 70%
ESC : Robbe Roxxy 960-6

Today when i fly the Protos i have the same Mistake.

The Free Run is OK. When i Pitch the Heli with full Positive ( 12° Pitch ) i have no mistakes. But when i make some Pitchpumping the Esc close when the Load change in the down ( -12°) for a little second..

The Mistakes i have never befor when i Fly the 7s A 123

Regards from Germany , Uwe

PS: The German Top 3D Pilots Timo Wendland and Jo kaulbach have the same ESC in there T-Rex 500 but no Mistakes

It almost sounds like the governor of your ESC has to actually shut down the motor for a sec to avoid overrevving of your head when you go through the zero pitch phase. Does that only happen when you are in idle 1 (50% governor, which is very low)?

Hello,
i think that the "Response of Govener " is to high in the ESC.
I will set it a little bit lower and look what will happens.
When the mistakes are the same i will send it to the manufactur for a check.

Thanks , and regards from Germany;Uwe

Hello, NEWS OF SUCCESS

I have also put the timing on 25 °, the Response on slowest, as well as the Acleration.
This morning I have started the Heli... on to the lift driving.
The smallest speed burglary was not to be noted, in any case, nothing belongs, and the rear turn away with the speed loss was not there also.
But the Protos have more Punch like the last days so i must change my Gyro Setup
After the flight the lipo have a Temperatur of 33°C , the Engine have 61°C. The Air Temperatur was 19°C in the morning.

For me, the Heli is a gun!!! ( in Idl 2 with 70% 2900rpm WOW )

Many thanks once more for the useful tip.

Nice greeting, Uwe

PS: The Turnigy is a very good inexpensive Lipo where you can have 5 minutes of Fun
