Default SK540 First Time

Hello guys, hope you all are fine,

I bought a sk540 (clear) for my G570.

I followed the all wizard steps but I still have some weird problems. I have a really bad feeling that I will crash this beauty on maiden because of sk540 configuration so I wanted to check everything with you.

I have DX9

1. I set Normal servo in my transmitter and set 120 Degree on SK540.

2. My elevator servo is center, aileron is right and collective servo is left (according to the sk540 pdf).

3. My all servo movements is looking good and all swash movements are ok. But when I move my aileron to the right, "Input From Receiver" field's aileron turns red but sk540 says it should turn green. Will this be a problem?

4. When I connected with USB my all servos work faster and exact. When I disconnect my servos move slower and let's say I move aileron or elevator 20% it goes to it's end point (100%) slowly. But it travels only 20% when I am connected to the sk540 with usb.

As I said everything looks correct, gyro position, servo types, etc.

Also my tail gain is 50% and cyclic gain is 10%. These are good values?

=] Do Not fly in this state! Forget aileron and pitch. Look at the Left servo and Right servo connections to the SK, I think you have these reversed? Go through the initial wizard again...

The servo movement is correct also when disconnected from the USB, once in the air the gyro will proper commands, this is to avoid a tip over on the ground...

=] No, you need to increase the cyclic gain to 45% or so.....

My aileron servo connected to the SW-R and my pitch servo connect to the SW-L. I made the initial wizard again. After completing the initial wizard my aileron behaves reversed (without any tx setting). So I reverse it on my Tx.

Thank you Georgi. I think the problem solved. I changed left and right servos on the fbl.

blade pitch is -+ 12, cyclic pitch is 9.5. tail setup is ok. tail gain and cyclic gain is 50%.

My servos still moves faster when I connected to sk540 with usb on a computer.

Wish me luck on my maiden

=] Just to clarify, there is nothing reversed in the Tx now? Standing behind the heli, we connect LH and RH (there is no aileron or collective servo) to the SK ports SW-L & SW-R.

When USB connected all servo's respond as expected, when USB disconnected, they do not!

Good luck with the maiden! you will be fine,,,,,,,,now.

Maiden Success

Thank you again Georgi.

This beauty stands like a butter in the air in the first flight! Tail is smooth and sharp. But it's not very agile maybe I used my old 600 radix blades (for guarantee )

I will use the original blades and make some more test tomorrow.
