Can you make your own ZYX-S DSM2/DSMJ Compatible Satellite Receiver Cable?
Do I really need to buy this, or is it something that I can just make my own? Is there anything special under the heatshrink, or is it just yellow wire to yellow wire, brown wire to brown wire, and orange wire to orange wire?
Is there any electronics under the heatshrink?

I have not opened up one. I heard the satellite needs a lower voltage, so I assume there is a diode in there to drop the voltage.

Thanks! I guess I'll just order one and save a potential headache for a few dollars.

i removed the covering on mine as i wanted to shorten the wire by soldering the cut wires directly to whatever was inside, and can confirm there is a small board thing in there. presumably it does something important by the magic of tiny round and square coloured objects arranged cleverly. .
in the end i decided it best to just shorten the wires normally
