Default did they design this or was it accident?

well i was swapping out main gears, because occasionally i get a speck of dust in them and they sound terrible, i was looking for something to push the gear on with that wouldn't warp it, i remember somebody had posted something about making a gear pusher from an old bic pen but i didn't have any bic pens, then i remembered....

those feathering shaft tools! one side is a small hole, the other side is much bigger, i was wondering at one point why they bothered to make them hollow like that, didn't seem like it would save much money, but what do i know...

well anyways i put two and two together and realized the large hole in the spindle tool was the exact right size for pushing the main gear on!

i know, kinda pointless and dumb, who cant get a gear on, i was just curious if anybody knew whether they designed them to do this or not...

I don't know, but I've used the tool for that too. Also used my e-cig drip tip to push the main gear of my MCPX BL on too.
