Very familiar looking......
As much as I love my Gaui X4II, and as "cool" as this new idea in frame wiring is, I couldn't help but notice a couple of striking similarities between the belt drive system of this particular Gaui and the Warp.

Damn I've been talking about building wiring into the frame for years. . . I thought wireless communicating servos drawing power from a frame mounted power buss would be so awesome.

Don't you hate it when that happens, Jason?
The only downside I can see to this is the potential increase in cost for the frame side should you damage one in a crash. I mean, that feature has got to cost more....how much more is the question.

It is a cool idea. Though I'd be afraid that I'd crash, crack a frame, and it shorts out and fries electronics.... I really don't see much need to improve things except by making both ends of the servo leads have plugs on them. Also It would increase the chances of plugging things in reversed polarity and more failure points between the power supply and increasingly more demanding servos.

Does anyone else think that the belt drive pulley and tension rollers look just like the Warp parts.......or is it just me?

Oh yeah... lol the whole reason I was gonna post. It looks like a spitting image. Is that a new tail drive design with those frames? Was it TT to start?

Yes, I believe it was originally a TT model.

Pure coincidence, Bob...

LOL Richard!!
Seriously though, when I first saw this pic, my eyes snapped right to the belt drive system. I do love both my Warp and X4II, I just couldn't resist posting this pic though. I wonder just how similar the belt pulley is to the actual Warp part.

That is the Gaui X3 with the new integrated wiring frames. The Gaui X3 can be configured as a TT or belt driven setup. Stock (unless diff kits are being sold now) is TT.

Yep.
The x5 and x4II don't allow this kind of belt arrangement due to the boom line. It did allow on the x3 and Gaui cleverly released the belt option. Lots of pilots prefer belt, I'm one of these. Don't want noisy gears grinding and stopping me from hear the blades working

Wow, when did the warp move the motor to the front and have such an integrated boom block?
Nice idea of the wires in the frame. I wonder if anyone would come up with a single flat cable that could be used similarity with 3 servos that had a terminal on the end rather than a wire lead? That would simplify some wiring! Basically a 3 servo squid cable.

It is very nice that Gaui is providing a belt upgrade!

Yes it is, Sir.
It's a nice heli and now their owners can even hear the blades. It wasn't possible on the TT setup
