Default Any good RC flight schools?

I have been at this a while and I am in the hoover stage of flying. I have been hoovering my Trex 500 in my garage and want more out of it. I do want to end up doing 3D flight some day. I am looking for a flight school. I think it would be money well spent if I go to a flight school and learn from some of the best. I would like to get advice on any flight schools in the US I could travel down to for a few days and learn how to fly my birds. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Well it may be cheaper, easier and more convenient for you to try getting some lessons over the net. I don’t really know the deal with flying schools but from what I understand it’s more a club thing. You join a club and one or more of the pro flyers buddy box with you... I'm sure you can find somebody on here that will spend 1 on 1 time with you but the logistics of the whole deal would be much easier on both parties over the net.

Judging by the amount of helis you have (from your sig) I'm guessing money isn’t really that much of an issue... So taking that into consideration if you had say a 60" flatscreen hooked up to a decent PC and a broadband connection I think some 1 on 1 internet lessons may really help you a lot.

I mean I'm no 3D guy but I can help you out for free if you do it that way as I'm sure many other guys on here that are much more qualified then me... I fly phoenix over a 60" flatscreen and it’s AWESOME!

Here are the 2 schools I have found. Anyone know these guys or even better gone to their schools. Both look to be on the up and up and would provide me what I need. Thanks

RĒzĒ... do you give lessons? I have no one near. It would help to have someone for even an hour or two. I've been on the sim and trying to hover a clone but I think a little real person correction could help in the bginning.

yeah I'd be happy to help out if you can ever make it to our field (torchs.org). You going to Port Charlotte this weekend? I'll be there tomorrow all day.

I have flown with Todd a few ties and is an excellent instructor. He resides in southern cal but travels around. You can contact him through his website.

Default Eagle RC Flight School

I went to this flight school http://www.eaglercflightschool.com/. Rob is an excellent instructor. Confident, competent, and always gives you constructive advice. I went for planes and helis. I flew the whole week at a private field. You fly all day, except a break for lunch or if you are tired.

Its not as polished as some of the schools, but you go to learn, not for the frills. Once I got over that I was happy with the experience. It is in North Florida, about an hour south of Jacksonville.
