Default Fury 55- Fan/Fan Hub balancing

Hi All,

Has anyone balanced up their fan and fan hub assembly? If so how much material did you have to remove?

I've done mine, but really had to take out ALOT of material, and i'm not sure if i'm happy with it.

Matt

Yep, still had to take alot of material off, i even tried shortening/lengthening the screws to see if that helped but it wasn't enough.

I have a picture of it somewhere post balancing, i'll dig it out

That's pretty normal for balancing a metal fan of any brand. The area where you remove material from isn't really under any stress, so removing material like that won't hurt it one bit.

My results were a little different, I didn't have to take off as much.

Mine looks ten times worse not sure if it was me doing my first fan balance, or if I had a bad fan... It came out perfect after drilling everywhere tho

Do you really need to balance it? Just one can just fly?
