They ARE different, my 700 boom is smaller in length AND diameter than my 800.
Sounds like the F3C one isn't though.

But the tail boom mount, (where the torque tube umbrella gears go) is the same as the F3C so you can order it that way or under the align 800. I just ordered the align 800 trekker tail boom mount, (the one that sits in the frames) because the 700 F3c was out, and it fit fine in my helicopter there were no issues at all.
This is false.
The 700E F3C does not have a 24mm dia. tail boom like 800E does, therefore uses different tailboom mount & p/no.s.

Click on Part no.s below to go to Aligns webpage.
The part no. for 800E Trekker Tail Boom Mount H80T001XXW
The part no. for 800E Trekker Tail boom H80T005XXW
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The part no. for 700E or F3C Tail boom mount HN7046
The part no. for 700E or F3C Tail boom HN7047 or HN7032

There is no seperate listing for "F3C" specific tail boom or mount.

That's what I told her a long time ago and I searched for specific F3C part and did not find 24mm boom for 700, I would have bought one to put on mine but they don't exist.

In page 1 post #6 Sarah have posted a photo of his F3C next to a Trekker, and you can see the difference in boom diameter on the pic.

Totally agree, just uses bog standard 700 boom which is a smaller diameter, my 700 boom fits inside the 800 one .
The mount is also different as it has a bigger bore for the BIGGER 800 boom.
Building another 700E at the moment and have compared parts against my 800.
Would love to see someone try to fly the 700 with the 800 boom mount and 700boom F3c or not as it's not physically possible.

Default 700 to 800 extension

Hi,
I am thinking about stretching my 700 dfc to 800, i think mine is a v2, with 750mx 530kv motor,

what parts i would need ?
Also can i run 800mm main blades with that motor?
How would bigger blades effect my flight time ?
Whats the flight time on a 800 with 5000mah ?
