The universal Swash leveleling tool won't work on the Mini.. The mini Protos has a 6mm main shaft.
Nice wish list though!

Inverted landing? What's the initial damage estimate?

Nope. Backwards flight went in knife edge. I'll be uploading the vid to youtube shortly. Surprisingly, no tail damage whatsoever. Bent main shaft, sheared main pulley bolt, Z bent feathering shaft, bent grip balls and one sheared swash to grip link.

I am going low hub (just waiting for the first crash, yay!) so that nullifies my link damage, I have new grips, new main pulley, and new main and feathering shafts. So I've got new main bearings and new balls coming in. I did re-order parts to replace what's damaged too. Total repair bill, $48.00. Not bad at all.

Did I mention my boom is still straight, and my tail is smooth as silk?

Oh wait, new mains too, but I had those as well. Okay, so add another $44 to that when I re-order them.

Here's the vid

I already posted about my inverted autorotation into water (no damage!) a while back but it seems so appropriate to cross reference it here.

Finally the weather is turning around, and squeezed in a few flights today. What a little beast this thing is on 6S. Best flying 450 I have ever had!!

I have nothing more to add to that, other than hearty agreement.

Also Agreed. The MiniP is a wicked little beast with 6s! As with my Protos500, the more I fly it, the more I love it. I like it so much I bought some more goodies for it.

Ooooh, shiny!
You guys are going to make me end up spending more money on mine. I'm still flying it with "old school" JR digital servos.

DS285MG's here too. Maybe after the first time it goes in I might get something a little quicker. The specs on those MKS 95's are quite impressive, damn pricey though for a micro servo.

I wouldn't say great. But thank you. I need a bigger heli so it'll show up better. I'll be up for this weekend. Waiting on bearings and long balls. I'll be back with my low hub for better flips, and an even sexier heli. :Thumbup

Got a pretty good deal on a brand new set I found on HF classifieds and they even came with the wire braiding installed.

They're pricier, but worth every penny But still...guess what kind of medicine did my mini need in order for me to push the button on MKS

That's what happens when you land the way manual tells you not to

wbefield: Looks nice, I'm curious how you'll go about the wiring.
